The beauty of good news is that it cannot be contained. Those who benefit from it are eager to share it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is such good news for all that everywhere the apostles more people believed in Jesus. However, some people opposed the message of Jesus. The Christian faith today regularly draws in new believers and encounters opposition. Thankfully, we can study the unfolding of the early church for wisdom and guidance. In this Groundwork series, we’ll examine Paul’s missionary journeys and how the early church worked out the meaning of the gospel of Jesus Christ for their daily lives to understand our heritage and gain wisdom for our future. Through this study, we’ll discover the confidence to share our faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that God works through the good and the bad, our successes and trials.
