Jesus Christ: Light of the World
Light is a critical component in our lives. The sun provides light and heat essential to life on Earth. But sunlight is merely a physical phenomenon. The Bible tells us of a greater light, a light that provides promise and hope for our whole spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical being. In this Groundwork series, we’ll walk through the seasons of Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany together, remembering the stories of Jesus' birth while exploring the theme of Jesus Christ as the Light of the World, who illuminates our lives and brings hope. Together, we’ll trace this theme through both the Old and New Testaments and discuss what it means for our lives as Christ’s followers in the world today.
