Can you believe that Groundwork has been on the air for 15 years? We’re so honored to have been part of your regular faith rhythm over the last 15 years (and hope to be here for 15+ more!). Groundwork has a long and storied history that began with The Back to God Hour radio program and transformed into the Groundwork we know and cherish today. Groundwork has produced over 645 episodes in the last 15 years. To celebrate this milestone, we sent a survey to our audience, asking them to share their favorite series and what they’ve loved most about Groundwork. We received so many positive responses, like this comment from Nancy: “All episodes are so full of truth and well-delivered explanations of the Scriptures to help understand their meaning. I love and have been studying God’s Word for years, but each episode always teaches me something I haven’t thought of before or didn’t quite understand. Keep up the wonderful work of sharing and spreading God’s Word.”

Hosea: A Prophetic Call to Return to Faithfulness (2025): In this series based on the prophetic book of Hosea, Groundwork hosts Darrell Delaney and Scott Hoezee examine the unique message from God brought to Israel through Hosea’s marriage to Gomer, the different sides of God’s heart, from the scathing judgments of Israel’s idolatry to his offer of grace, and what we can learn about our own hearts today.

The Kingdom of God (2025): In this recent series, Darrell Delaney and Scott Hoezee unpack what the Bible teaches us about the kingdom of God, and what it means to live as citizens of God’s kingdom here and now.

Christians in Society (2024): How should our faith in Jesus impact how we live in our society each day? Darrell Delaney and Scott Hoezee grapple with this question, allowing Scripture to inform our discussion of Christlike civility in our words and behavior and instruct our engagement in society. 

The Cross of Jesus (Lent 2022): In this Lent series, Darrell Delaney and Scott Hoezee study, reflect, and discuss the multiple aspects of the cross of Jesus revealed in Scripture, as well as the deep application the cross has for our hearts and lives today.

The Parables of Jesus (2017): Dave Bast, former Groundwork host, and Scott Hoezee study some of Jesus’ most famous parables to discover deep truths about God and his kingdom.

7 Deadly Sins (2013): Dave Bast and Scott Hoezee dive into the ancient list of the Seven Deadly Sins by examining scriptural examples of what these sins look like in order to better understand what they are, what they are not, and their consequences. This series is also available as an ebook.
