Audio Bible Studies About Prayer

Prayer is a wonderful gift from God, bringing us into direct communication with our heavenly Father. The Bible assures us that God hears our prayers: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (). Through God’s Son, Jesus Christ, we may “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (). We can’t earn God’s love by praying, but he blesses us as we seek him and walk with him, growing and maturing in his wonderful gift of prayer.

We invite you to explore the Groundwork series, episodes, and blog posts about prayer listed below. Dig into God’s Word about prayer fundamentals and practices, as well as the way Christ modeled prayer for his followers.

Groundwork is a weekly, half-hour audio program for radio and podcast that digs deeply into Scripture as the foundation for our lives. Our current hosts, Scott Hoezee and Darrell Delaney, cultivate our understanding of God’s Word by unpacking the richness of the Bible in casual conversation and applying it with insight to today’s world. Groundwork is great for personal or group study.
