How Should Christians Respond to Injustice?

Whenever we see someone experiencing injustice, we call for justice on their behalf. In our present culture, we hear many strongly held opinions about what the government should or should not do to establish justice. This makes justice feel very political. But is justice merely a political issue?

God reveals his perspective on justice throughout the entire Bible: justice is more than righting wrongs or getting what’s rightfully ours. Biblical justice calls for us to go beyond what our civil laws require. God’s justice is about the flourishing of all people.

We invite you to explore the Groundwork series, episodes, and blog posts about biblical justice listed below. Groundwork is a weekly, half-hour audio program for radio and podcast that digs deeply into Scripture as the foundation for our lives. Our current hosts, Scott Hoezee and Darrell Delaney, cultivate our understanding of God’s Word by unpacking the richness of the Bible in casual conversation and applying it with insight to today’s world. Groundwork is great for personal or group study.
