Daniel: Trusting God's Sovereignty
The book of Daniel is a fascinating read. It has strong characters, powerful stories, and extraordinary dreams. Children and adults alike can recall the stories of how God delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fiery furnace and Daniel from the lion’s den. Those who have read further in Daniel may also recall the complex imagery and symbolism of Daniel’s apocalyptic dreams. This Groundwork series will dig deeply into these familiar stories and dreams to discover how the book of Daniel continues to encourage and strengthen our faith today. Together, we’ll examine examples of living faithfully in a culture that is skeptical of our faith; we’ll learn about God’s mercy and justice; and we’ll find confidence to trust and obey God in the challenges of our lives. Join us as we witness together God’s sovereignty over all of creation, his faithfulness to always show up, and his unending care for his people.
