Ephesians: A Summary of the Gospel and What it Means for How We Live
When our experiences differ from the cultural norm, it’s natural to feel insecure, like an outsider unsure of how to move forward. The Ephesian Christians definitely felt this way. They were a community made up of primarily new, Gentile believers living out their belief in Jesus Christ in a culture that was quite contrary to their newfound faith. So to encourage and energize them, Paul wrote an impassioned letter. In this letter to the Ephesians, he expounds on who God is and how through God’s salvation work all people can find assurance of salvation and inclusion in God’s family. Join Groundwork in studying the biblical book of Ephesians. Together, we’ll find encouragement in Pauls’s teaching and invigoration for our own faith.
